A characteristic phenomenon of the 1960s and 1970s in the art of Europe, the world and of this country is painting’s exploration of its own language: at the centre of attention is technique and the ways and means of producing a work.
I am focused on the whole on square forms and grainy, seminal forms: the painting palette.
As well as on painting, the analytical manner also focuses on linguistic and conceptual landmarks (see the Art & Language Group) connected with the pictorial contents.
