My B1 format collages are an echo of the real world, of urban, industrialised society. Scissors cut magazines, pen cut into paper, deeply and tenderly, alternately, and a spatial white world of letters in which I am still moving today opened up. In the “Grisailles” series in some of the paintings I apply the graphic procedures of polishing and erasing colours and so on. Blocks
In the “Blocks” series, I deal with relations of columns of text and margins, that whiteness at their edges, using not the usually recommended typographical proportions among them but my own, which are artistically determined.
